BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:

Fine Reduction Request for BAF 3 LLC:

This Fine Reduction Stipulation and Agreed Recommended Order involves a parcel located at 3299 SE Garden Street, Stuart, FL. 34997 Martin County, Florida.

On January 19, 2022, an Order Finding Violation was issued by the Code Enforcement Magistrate to BAF 3 LLC, for the following violation(s): Section 105.1 FBC- Permits - Permits When Required Incorporated By Sec 21.1 General Ordinances, Martin County Code.

Compliance was required by February 28, 2022. On December 1, 2023, an Affidavit of Compliance/Accrued Fines was issued reflecting an outstanding fine of $50,500.00 plus costs in the amount of $ 575.00.

Staff has determined that a lien reduction is warranted. Current Owners were not responsible for the violation; and brought the property into compliance and have offered to pay $10,000.00 to resolve the outstanding fines which have accrued. On February 25, 2022 a Special Warranty Deed was recorded changing the ownership from BAF 3 LLC to BAF 4 LLC.
