BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:

The current makeup of the Drug and Alcohol Abuse Awareness Committee is as follows:
1. City of Stuart
2. Clerk of the Circuit Court
3. Martin County Board of County Commissioners
4. Public Defender's Office
5. Martin County School Board
6. Martin County Sheriff's Office/Jail
7. State Attorney's Office
8. Town of Jupiter Island
9. Town of Sewall's Point
10. Treatment Representative
11. Circuit Court Judge - 19th Judicial Circuit
12. Two (2) Private Citizens - Resident of Martin County
13. Youth member (non-voting)
The proposed change to Resolution 19-11.3 is to change the 11th category of Circuit Court Judge - 19th Judicial Circuit to be a non-voting member, at the request of the Chief Judge. The Drug and Alcohol Abuse Awareness Committee recommended approval of the requested change.

The Board is requested to adopt a Resolution appointing Chief Judge Lawrence Mirman to the Circuit Court Judge - 19th Judicial Circuit non-voting member position and to appoint Quintina Harris to the Martin County School Board member position to replace the current member, Theresa Iuliucci at the request of the School Board.
