Public Works Department has established the need for improved stormwater drainage in Palm City Farms, the project runs from Bessey Creek south, along SW 72nd, SW 75th, and SW 78th Avenues to Martin Highway. The project consists of obtaining 21 Drainage Easements from the property owners in the area and restoring the drainage system with improvements which will give the County the ability to maintain the drainage system.
The project will consist of re-grading the existing swales and installing culverts where needed at the proper elevation. The project will result in better stormwater flow capacity.
